To discover Blockchain's media theory, I firstly research the theories behind other digital tribes and products.

In 2009 Satoshi the creator of Bitcoin famously posted the above quote on a forum

Although he was mainly talking about money, the underlying theme suggests a deeper distrust for the entire monetary
system, which is run by a small group of individuals.

Trust in Code: People make mistakes, creating issues for the entire community. Bitcoin Community’s places its trust in code.

Distribution of Ownership: Too much power has been concentrated in the hands of too few, leading to corruption. Satoshi made Bitcoin’s code open source, and the ownership distributed among the network.

The Blockchain is the manifestation of Bitcoin’s community’s core beliefs, and it is the program which enables Bitcoin to work without central banks or human operators. It is a trustless system built on code.

2. It is a distributed database.
3. It is a permanent storage
4. Every person on the networks owns the data

1. DNA is commonly referred to as “Genetic Code.”
2. Functionally DNA is the database for human biology as it stores DNA information.
3. Like Bitcoin, DNA’s information is hard to modify.
4. DNA belongs to no single person, everyone owns and contributes it. 

Dawkins discusses how the gene as a way to survive, came together and created cells, which ultimately created the human.

Therefore, humans are in fact survival machines for gene replication.

The Blockchain is a Digital DNA, a replicator created from code.

Its purpose is to disperse the Bitcoin’s tribe’s fundamental values, which are its: Trust in Code and the belief in the Distributed Ownership.

Just like how we are workers for our DNA, The Bitcoin’s community are workers for this Digital DNA. 

The goal is to one day make Bitcoin’s Digital DNA is dispersed throughout the entire world.
