Polli is a live polling app created in the start-up weekend in Seattle. Out of more then 60 teams, Polli would come in the top 10. In a period of less then 48 hours, we created a live polling app that was used to decide the winners of the event.
The Problem
The collective opinion of those around us are becoming ever more important. It has become a key consideration from deciding on where to eat to who should be the President. This is why large cooperations such as Starbucks to TV-Show such as American-Idol are investing heavily into polling technologies.
However, the current to voting process is an extremely manual. People would either be using paper and stickers or other outdated tools. Furthermore, it is usually limited to market questionnaires
Team
Although I pitched the idea, it would have never been possible if it wasn't for the incredible team that came together in a period of an hour.

User Interface
Features
We wanted to not only make this into a utility, but also a platform that could be used for not only voting at conferences but for general purpose voting. We want to allow anyone to easily set up and share that poll anywhere, anytime.
Usage
Usage:
- We have over 23 thousand Votes in a single event at the De La Salle Hackathon in Manilla.
- It was also used thousands of times in Manilla by other events
- Polli became the main way to decide winners at Spokane's Hackathon
- People used it to ask others questions that were not only about events.
